Background:

H2O.ai, a global leader in predictive and agent-based artificial intelligence, has entered into a strategic partnership with Singapore-based Certis Group to accelerate the deployment of AI across security and operational environments. The two organisations have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) aimed at strengthening decision-making, safety, and operational resilience in complex urban and infrastructure settings.

The collaboration will bring together H2O.ai’s technology with Certis’ Mozart platform. The goal is to improve real-time awareness, predict risks, and make planning easier for urban security, transportation, and critical infrastructure.

The MOU signing was attended by top leaders from both companies, including H2O.ai CEO Sri Ambati and Certis CEO Ng Tian Beng.

The companies will develop and test new technology in real-world settings, including tools for planning, decision support, and robotics that assist human teams. The focus will be on creating AI solutions that are reliable, explainable, and aligned with real-world operational demands.

In addition to technology development, the partnership places strong emphasis on workforce readiness and responsible AI use. Both companies will conduct knowledge-sharing workshops and training programmes aimed at improving AI literacy, governance, and ethical practices across Certis’ workforce.

Commenting on the partnership, Sri Ambati said the collaboration reflects a shared commitment to deploying AI responsibly to address real-world challenges, particularly in safety and sustainability. Ng Tian Beng said Certis will ensure its systems are safe, reliable, and well-managed as it uses more technology.

The partnership also supports Singapore’s Smart Nation goals and highlights Certis’ recent recognition in the tech field.
